Erica Burkhardt was born in Philadelphia and grew up in New Jersey. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University before moving to South Carolina to pursue her law degree at Charleston School of Law. During law school, Erica was a member of the Moot Court Board, Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and Real Estate Society. She primarily focused her studies on property and transactional law and clerked at firms focusing on all phases of real estate transactions. She is a member of the Charleston County and South Carolina Bar Associations.
Erica now lives in Summerville with her fiancé, Luke, and their dog, Murphy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, going to the beach, and cheering on all Philadelphia sports teams.
